About Me and the Work
I’m a seasoned, skilled, compassionate, and creative group facilitator.
I help people find relief, insight, joy, and purpose through the amazing tool of the Work That Reconnects.
About me
I am passionately dedicated to using my gifts for the healing of our world. I have been facilitating the Work That Reconnects since 2015, and I've witnessed this work bring empowerment and renewal to many people, showing them how to take part in the Great Turning - the global movement toward a life-sustaining culture.
Among the many programs I have created have been a grief ritual for a tired group of climate activists who found new energy, a day-long retreat that helped a group of church elders get out of their heads and into their imaginations, and a workshop that allowed a university ecology class to open their hearts to each other.
My background
I was a performer on the New England folk scene for many years, and I have lent my voice to many political actions. I love to lead singing, and have a large repertoire of easy songs that I use in my workshops.
I worked for ten years as an organizer and coach with Mothers Out Front, a national grassroots climate movement. I bring the experience of developing people’s confidence and passion for action to my facilitation.
I love to see how Anne’s singing connects people with their felt sense of the Earth.

Anne is totally congruent with and grounded in the work she does, and creates a safe and loving space for all participants. Her expertise makes it possible to work through very strong emotions and emerge comforted and energized.

About the Work that Reconnects
The Work That Reconnects is an inspiring, interactive group process for anyone who longs to serve the healing of our world. A workshop offers an opportunity to reconnect to ourselves, each other, and our place in the web of life, opening to our deep feelings, our imagination, and our determination to act on behalf of life on Earth.
The inspiration for the work comes from multiple sources including:
Eco-psychology
Systems thinking
Ancient wisdom traditions
Engaged Buddhism
Anti-oppression theory
