Taking Heart in Tough Times
We are living in a time that can feel dark and confusing. We aspire to respond with wisdom and courage, but sometimes fear we lack the tools and resources, or the heart to take the necessary risks. The Work That Reconnects offers a trail map for uncertain times - one where we can find inspiration, courage, and community. This program will include practices and teachings from Joanna Macy and her collaborators, and will follow the spiral structure of the Work That Reconnects - grounding in gratitude, honoring our pain for the world, seeing with new eyes, and going forth. Together, we will take heart to move ahead.
Workshop Fee: $30 regular rate, $50 generosity rate, $15 supported rate, $0 full scholarship rate. Choose the level that feels right to you.

A Calling for Our Times
This workshop will center around the Tibetan Buddhist prophecy of the Shambhala Warrior, which Joanna Macy often shared, as an inspiration for us to rise to the calling of our times.

You Are Earth
On Earth Day, when so many groups are urging us to take action, let’s take a moment to anchor ourselves in the fact that we are part of the living body of Earth. With that knowledge, our actions on behalf of Earth are not altruism that requires us to be “good”, but healthy self-interest that flows naturally from that wider sense of self. In this 90-minute online gathering, we’ll touch on some of the exciting ideas of deep ecology, honor ancient earth wisdom, experience a guided meditation, and be nourished by music and poetry that celebrates our place in the web of life.

Climate News Support Circle
Climate change is no longer in the distant future, but is increasingly in the here and now. Scientists tell us there is little time left, at most six years to avoid the worst of catastrophic climate change, and the United States has an incoming president who believes climate change to be a hoax. What a painful and difficult time to be alive.
This Climate News Support Circle will offer a kind and compassionate space to bring our overwhelm into the caring presence of others. Together we will read and process news stories covering climate disasters, national and international politics, or scientific news of environmental unraveling, in order to nurture our collective capacity to turn towards a world in crisis and find sustainable ways we can contribute to the healing needed in these times.
